Terms of Service

Terms for using ClipScript: transcription rights, fair use and service limits.

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Agreement and service

By using ClipScript you agree to these terms. The service transcribes video and audio you are entitled to process into text, TXT and SRT subtitles. Results are generated by automatic speech recognition: they can contain errors and should be reviewed before professional or legal use.

Your responsibility

You must own or have permission to transcribe every file or link you submit. Do not submit confidential third-party material, unlawful, infringing or harmful content, and do not attempt to transcribe private or access-restricted material. You are responsible for how you use and republish transcripts, including respecting copyright in the spoken words.

Acceptable use

Do not bypass input limits or quotas, automate abusive request volume, probe credentials or infrastructure, disrupt the service, or use it to violate another person's rights. Free daily quotas exist to keep the service sustainable for everyone.

Results and availability

Transcripts and subtitle files are provided as-is. Automatic link fetching may be unavailable while accuracy and rights reviews are in progress; the interface states availability honestly. We may limit, suspend or change the service to protect users, providers and infrastructure.

Third-party platforms

ClipScript is not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, Meta Platforms or ByteDance, and is not authorized or endorsed by them. Platform terms continue to apply to content hosted on those platforms.

Rights, disclaimer and changes

The service is provided without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We may update these terms as the product changes; the date above identifies the current version.
